Jeff is the dedicated individual behind Lucky Paws Tennessee, bringing with him 16 years of experience in working with various dog breeds and behaviors. We take pride in offering personalized dog boarding services right in our own home. Our philosophy centers around treating every pup as part of our family and ensuring they feel like the luckiest dog alive.

Our love for animals drives us to prioritize their safety and happiness above all else. At Lucky Paws Tennessee, we value getting to know both you and your pet before embarking on our services, allowing us to provide the best possible care. To facilitate this, we offer a complimentary meet and greet where we can address any questions or concerns you may have. Additionally, we conduct a temperament test to ensure that our services are a good fit for your dog. During this initial stage, you'll have the opportunity to meet our team, and if we mutually agree that it's a good match, you'll be provided with the necessary paperwork to begin our services. Please note that Lucky Paws requires all dogs to be up to date on vaccinations and on flea and tick medication, as this is essential for the well-being of your dog as well as ours.

As a testament to our commitment to safety, we are trained in First Aid and CPR for dogs, cats, and humans. We are fully insured through Pet Sitters Associates, providing you with peace of mind. Our team not only possesses a genuine love for animals but also boasts an educational background, ensuring a compassionate and knowledgeable approach to their care.   • Jeff's journey in the world of dogs began with his Australian cattle dog named Foster. As a new dog owner, Jeff quickly realized the challenges that came with Foster's strong will, high energy level, and remarkable intelligence. Determined to provide the best care for his furry friend, Jeff sought guidance from professional dog walkers and trainers who frequented his local dog park. Through these interactions, he discovered the transformative power of modern training techniques and how they could positively impact the lives of both dogs and their owners.

    While assisting local dog walkers on the side, Jeff's passion for working with dogs grew stronger. Motivated by his desire to help dog owners better understand their pets' behaviors and needs, he took a leap and established his own dog walking and boarding business. He named it Ranger's Squadron, after his second dog, Ranger, a deaf cattle dog mix. With Ranger's unique qualities, Jeff developed a deep empathy for dogs with special needs and a dedication to facilitating harmonious relationships between owners and their canine companions.

    Jeff's commitment to professional development led him to graduate from the dogbiz U Dog Walking Academy. This comprehensive program enhanced his understanding of canine behaviors, training techniques, group management, dog park etiquette, and crucial skills such as pet first aid and CPR. Equipped with this knowledge and expertise, Jeff strives to provide exceptional care and guidance to both dogs and their owners.
